Kiln production

At Gyokumine Kiln, with the potter's wheel
Tatara making has a history of over 70 years.

The technique has been passed down through many craftsmen, and the products are currently made by the artist's wife, Chikako, and their son, Masatoku.

He is the only member of the Nakao family to have graduated from an arts faculty.
